Meltdown

A digital space for quiet emotional release

Meltdown is a personal project—a mobile app I designed and developed to hold emotional weight without urgency, explanation, or performance. It’s for the moments when you don’t want to text someone, but also don’t want to carry everything alone.

You open the app, drop what you’re feeling. No filters, no fixing, and it becomes a small orb that floats across a shared emotional canvas.
Your friends can read it. Maybe reply. Or just let it drift.
And when you’re ready, you can burst your own orb.
It disappears with a message: you let it go. it drifted into the deep.

Everything is anonymous.
No names, no profiles. Just emotions floating, softly shared.
A way to feel less alone—without having to explain who you are or why you feel this way.

This isn’t social media. It’s not therapy.
It’s the in-between.
A space for breakdowns that don’t need to be solved—just seen.
A soft little corner of the internet where feelings can breathe, then float away.

I didn’t set out to build another app.
I just wanted somewhere soft to fall apart.
Meltdown started as a breakdown. Then a grey screen. Now, it’s this.

A place for the things we don’t say out loud.
A space that doesn’t talk back. It just listens, holds, and lets go.

If it becomes that space for someone else too, I’ll be really glad.
